Lake County Illinois Police are looking into the unexpected disappearance of a young family. Two young children and their mother appear to have vanished five days ago from their suburban Chicago area, leaving no clues as to their whereabouts.

Aneta M. Marsek, 33, of Volo, Illinois, and her 4-month-old daughter, Macenzie and 2-year-old daughter, Chevelle, disappeared Saturday afternoon after Aneta left her parents house, only miles away from her family’s home. Aneta’s estranged husband, Dan Marsek, called police after he was unable to locate his children and their mother. Family members say the husband has been highly cooperative with police and at this point they don’t suspect any foul play.

Aneta’s vehicle, a black SUV Chevrolet Trailblazer is also missing.

According to WGN News, family members have been trying to reach Aneta on her cell phone but have been thus far unsuccessful.

Aneta Marsek stands 5 feet 10 inches and around 150 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes. Her daughters have brown hair and brown eyes. Lake County Police are asking the public to call them at 847-377-4250 with any tips or clues to help them locate Aneta and her two girls.
