R&B chart topper Usher has reportedly joined his ex-wife’s family at an Atlanta, Georgia hospital after hearing the tragic news that his step-son, Kyle Glover, had been involved in a serious water sport accident. Glover and his brother were riding in an inner tube on Lake Lanier in Atlanta, when two jet ski’s ran over the boys, hitting Glover in the head.
Glover is the son of Usher’s former wife, Tameka Foster. The couple divorced in 2010. According to Wikipedia, Usher’s chart topping song “Papers” was based on his failed relationship with Foster in 2009. Foster, who works as a celebrity stylist, has two biological children with Usher and 3 boys from previous marriages. Usher reportedly filed for sole custody of the couple’s two children, claiming that Foster was an unfit parent.
Putting all that aside, Usher joined Foster after the tragic news of her son’s accident over the weekend. This morning, doctors announced that the boy was brain dead. According to My Fox 8, the family is now trying to decide when to take the boy off life support.
