While the relationship between True Blood‘s Sookie Stackhouse and Bill Compton has soured, the off-screen marriage of Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer is going strong as the couple has announced they are expecting their first child together.
A rep for Paquin, 29, confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that the actress was expecting a baby in the fall. It will be her first.
Moyer, 42, is no stranger to baby making, however. He has a son, Billy, and a daughter, Lilac, from two previous relationships.
Paquin and Moyer were married at a private ceremony in Malibu in 2010, after a romance that the couple tried to keep under wraps when the couple began dating on the True Blood set in 2007.
At the time, Paquin told Rolling Stone that she felt “so lucky” and that her life is “pretty great.”
Fortunately for True Blood producers, they won’t have to work a pregnant Sookie into the story line. Filming for season 5 is already wrapping up, and the premiere airs June 10 on HBO.
