Gwyneth Paltrow, 40, revealed on Sunday that was pregnant with a third child, but had a dangerous miscarriage.
Paltrow, who has two children, Apple, 9, and Moses, 6, with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin says she’s now dreaming of expanding her family again and wrestles with the reality of playing it safe or potentially putting her life at risk to try again.
Paltrow, who was interviewed by the Daily Mail said: “My children ask me to have a baby all the time. And you never know, I could squeeze one more in. I am missing my third. I’m thinking about it,” Paltrow said. “But I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my third. It didn’t work out and I nearly died. So I am like, ‘Are we good here or should we go back and try again?”
Paltrow did not say when she was pregnant as it was successfully kept under wraps from the media. In 2008, Paltrow told Harper’s Bazaar that she was in baby mode and wanted to try for a third. She said that her late father, Bruce Paltrow, who died in 2002, revealed before his death that his biggest regret he had in life was that he only had two children.
Paltrow says that although her last pregnancy turned nearly fatal for her, she is now reconsidering trying again after meeting Jay-Z and Beyonce’s baby Ivy Carter. She called Ivy “delish.”
