A video of a mother allegedly holding up a bong filled with marijuana, has gone viral, catching the attention the Centralia, Wash. Police Department last week who were granted a warrant to search the mother’s home after viewing the video.

The cell phone video shows the mother, Rachelle L. Braaten, 24, holding a bong up to her toddler’s mouth and telling him to inhale. The baby then coughs and walks away and his mother is heard laughing. Police believe the baby inhaled the pot.

When police arrived to search the mother’s home, they found 40 marijuana plants and a firearm.

Braaten and the child’s father, Tyler J. Lee, 25, were both arrests on drug and firearm possession on Monday.

The boy, who is believed to be around 22-months-old and his 5-year-old brother were handed over to DCFS.

Marijuana has undergone a decriminalization process after a ballot initiative passed in Nov. 2012. Although measure 502 seeks to decriminalize possession of 40 grams or less, it is still illegal to grown and distribute it or give it to a minor.
