A mother from Stockton, Calif. is on the run after being accused of shoplifting and assaulting three security guards in front of her three daughters.

Bobbie Pritz, 44, was shopping in JC Penney’s with her toddler and 16-year-old daughter, stuffing clothes and perfume in the toddler’s stroller, while her 13-year-old daughter was outside waiting in the family’s van.

As Pritz and her two daughters left the store, three security guards approached them.  Stockton Police Department spokesman Joe Silva told CBS13 “She fought all three of them, biting one of them; and then, when she got into her car, she actually ran one over.”  The security guard who was run over only had minor injuries.

“Yesterday’s incident could have turned very deadly based on her actions, and [he] was very fortunate,” said Silva.

Pritz fled the scene in her van with her toddler and 13-year-old daughter, leaving her 16-year-old daughter behind.  The 16-year-old girl was arrested and released into the custody of her grandmother.

One shopper at the mall told CBS13, “It’s really sad because you’re using your kids to benefit yourself.  It’s pretty sad because they are innocent, and you’re teaching them that something like that is OK, and it’s not.”

Pritz  turned herself in at the Stockton Police Facility in downtown Stockton a few days after assaulting the security officers.  She was booked into the San Joaquin County jailed and charged with robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, and child endangerment.
