Tori Spelling, who just gave birth to her fourth child, Finn Davey McDermott, on August 30th, was rushed to the hospital last weekend when she started experiencing complications from her c-section delivery.

The c-section was the second surgical birth Spelling, 39,  has had in under a year. In October 2010, Spelling gave birth to her third child, daughter Hattie. In fact, Spelling has reportedly delivered all four of her babies via c-section.

The former 90210 and current reality TV star also has two toddlers, Stella, 4, and Liam, 5.

Although the Spelling camp hasn’t released the reasons why Spelling had to undergo emergency surgery, her personal blog and promotion arm for her current TV shows, Tori Loves Dean and Craft Wars posted an update on Wednesday stating, “All of us at ediTORIal wanted to take a moment to thank you for your well wishes as Tori recovers from surgery.  She is resting comfortably, and appreciates your love and support. We will keep you updated on her progress.”

Spelling’s actor husband, Dean McDermott, 45, tweeted yesterday that the couple had tried to keep the incident private and didn’t want the world to know, hence why he didn’t post about Tori’s hospitalization. About an hour ago he also tweeted, “Thanks to all who are supporting @Torianddean and me during this time.”
