True Blood costars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, who are married in real life, welcomed twins into the world very recently.

The notoriously private couple would not give the exact date in which Paquin gave birth, but reps for the actors did confirm to People magazine that the babies were born sometime over the past week.

Paquin, 30, who plays Sooki, the fairy blooded character lead in the off the wall vampire series and her husband, Moyer, 42, who plays her love interest and a vampire King in the HBO series based on books of the same name, have been dating since 2007 and married in August 2010.

Their rep says the twins were a few weeks premature, however mom and babies are reportedly doing well.

The twins are the couples first children together. Moyer has two children, Lilac, 10 and Billy, 12, both from previous relationships.

The sixth season of True Blood is scheduled for summer 2013, with an abbreviated run. Wetpaint reported last month that the series will be cut down to 10 episodes to accommodate Paquin and her newborns. Filming is scheduled to start in January.
