Lance Armstrong disses daughter after finishing 7th in Ironman race

Lance Armstrong, 40, the super-human winner of seven consecutive Tour de France races, showed major disappointment as he finished 7th in the Memorial Hermann 70.3 Ironman in Galveston, Texas over the weekend. So dismayed and seemingly irritated, Armstrong refused to take the 7th place finish metal from his daughter. His daughter is heard on video, crying, “Dad! Dad!,” while Armstrong seemingly ignores her.

The race, which seeks to test the physical endurance of athletes in the areas of biking, swimming and running, highlighted what Armstrong acknowledges as his weaker ability — running. Perhaps more content with winning 6th in the race, Jordan Jones shot up from behind to overtake 6th place in the final moments of the race. This apparently irritated Armstrong.

Armstrong is the father of 5 children, ranging in age from 1 to 12-years-old. His current girlfriend, Anna Hansen, is the mother of his two youngest children, ages 4 and 18 months.
