While there’s still a lot of time for which British actor Hugh Grant, 51,  can change his mind, according to a recent interview, he’s not setting his infant daughter up for a Paris Hilton lifestyle. Grant, who did the voice over for the lead character in the upcoming animated film, ‘The Pirates! Band of Misfits’, coming out April 27, 2012, says that while having a baby didn’t change him, it did make him a better person. Apparently being a better person though, doesn’t necessarily encourage generosity. Grant seems pretty set on having his daughter pave her own financial future.

In a recent press junket, he gave his thoughts on inherited wealth:

“I have the Tiger Mom. I’ll be Lamb Daddy. But also my other worry is about – and as I say, there are few things in life I believe in 100 per cent – but another one is not giving your children money. I see nothing but f**k-ups among my trust-fund friends. It’s like 99 per cent f**k-ups. So I would not want to do that to my children, no.”

Of course, Tabitha and her mother, Chinese actress Tinglan Hong, 31, whom Grant admits to having only a short fling with, were reportedly set up in a million dollar plus home just down the street from Grant. She was also given a brand new Mercedes shortly before his daughters birth. Something tells us that little Tabitha will probably be okay.
