Boy trapped in balloon may have fallen out
Posted October 15th, 2009 by minortopics | via www.foxnews.comA 6 year old Colorado boy, identified as Falcon Heene, was reported to have crawled into a large mylar balloon and floated away, however, when the balloon finally landed, the boy was nowhere to be found.
The area of the balloon he apparently crawled into was reportedly unlocked and authorities now believe the boy may have fallen out mid-air. His survival is unlikely.
Noteworthy as well, the boy appeared on an episode of “Wife Swap”, a reality television show where mothers switch families for a few days to see how moms can influence ingrained family dynamics.
DEVELOPING: A homemade balloon slowly descended in a Colorado field Thursday, but the fate of a 6-year-old boy believed to be inside was not known, authorities said.
The bizarre scene played out live on television and prompted fears that the flying saucer-shaped balloon would crash with the young child inside.
