First rule of toddler fight club, don’t make videos of toddler fight club.
Child Protective Services in Putnam County has opened an investigation into a YouTube video of two toddlers allegedly being forced to fight.
State Department of Health and Human Resources spokesman John Law confirmed the investigation and said his agency will also look into the incident if the children in the video are identified.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department began investigating the video Monday night after WCHS-TV drew it to their attention.
Law said the video showed several teenagers holding two boys by their arms and urging them to hit each other until one started to cry. He said the teens also encouraged the toddlers to use obscenities.

A man is being charged with child neglect after he allegedly left his 5-month-old son in the bathtub alone and the baby drowned.
When police arrived at the home, paramedics had already taken the 5-month-old baby and were in route to Charleston Area Medical Center’s Women and Children’s Hospital.
The child’s father, Vereen Edward Taylor, 36, said he left his son, Zachari Taylor, in the bathtub and came back later to find him floating in the water, James said.
Taylor told police he had occasionally put the infant in the tub with the shower running and the drain open to pacify him as he took care of personal matters, James said.
Uh, hasn’t this guy ever heard of a playpen?!

Another reason for us to not shop at Wal-Mart. A 12-year-old girl was stung by a scorpion while shopping in her local Wal-Mart’s produce section.
Megan Templeton, of Barboursville, was taken to the hospital as a precaution but later released. Her father, William Templeton, said the pain was a little worse than a bee sting.
He initially didn’t believe his daughter when she said she had been stung by a scorpion, but then he saw the critter scurry underneath a box. It was captured by Wal-Mart employees.
Most of the nearly 2,000 kinds of scorpions are not dangerous to humans.
