Napa toddler killed by hit and run driver
Posted June 1st, 2008 by minortopics | via abclocal.go.comA 2-year-old in Napa, California that was reported missing was found later along the side of the road, apparently the victim of a hit and run driver.
The juvenile hall employee looked along the road and found the toddler lying unconscious near the curb across from the juvenile detention facility.
The employee carried the child across the street and began CPR. Paramedics arrived and also attempted to revive the child before taking her by ambulance to the Queen of the Valley Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Napa police were investigating the incident as a hit-and-run and called the department’s accident reconstruction team to the scene to diagram the area where the girl was found.
