Uh, a “children’s advocate” is not supposed to be advocating having sex with them.
A court-appointed children’s advocate remained in jail Wednesday night after police said they seized video allegedly showing him having sex with children ranging in age from 3 to 15 and two adult women who appeared to be unconscious.
Billy Dan Carroll, 53, is in jail on a bond of $2 million, said a Travis County Jail official. The jail official did not know if Carroll has an attorney. An automated message at the jail said Carroll must post the full bond amount or a surety bond worth $2 million before being released.
The Associated Press left phone messages at multiple listings for a Billy Carroll, but none were returned.
Carroll was arrested Sunday and faces a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child, in connection with a May 17 incident allegedly involving an 8-year-old girl, according to the Austin American-Statesman Web site.

A baby, reportedly under the age of 1 and deeply frozen from being in the freezer for at least a year, was found in a hotel freezer in Houston, Texas.
Why did they wait so long to report it and why report it all if they seemingly were getting away with it. Perhaps an argument that prompted revenge?
MT hopes that a murder investigation will ensue.
A baby boy found dead in a southwest Houston motel freezer may have been there since May 2007, Houston police said at a Friday press conference.
Police say baby Devin was found Friday morning wearing a diaper wrapped in blankets inside a gym bag and frozen solid, police said. Detectives say Devin’s mother, Crystal Sosa, 25, and her common-law husband, Dezmond Blake, 29, had been using the refrigerator’s freezer while his body still inside.

A mother in Garland, Texas, accidentally ran over her 2-year-old with her car, not expecting the child to be outside late at night.
Police said that little Marvin Segovia and his brother were taken outside by their father to look at the stars.
When the mother returned from a trip to the grocery store, she apparently ran over Marvin when the toddler wandered into the driveway, police said.
The mother at first did not realize she had struck the child. That realization only came moments later when she heard her husband’s screams from the front yard, police said.

Why is it, you never hear of a gang of pugs killing children? Well, they don’t have the capability to. Pit Bulls are a disgrace to our society and harmful to children. Children need to come first. They’re far more important than dogs who are bred to look for a thrill kill.
ABILENE — A 7-year-old boy died after he was apparently attacked by pit bulls while playing outside near his rural home, authorities said.
A driver saw Tanner Joshua Monk of Breckenridge lying next to a road near Hubbard Lake on Sunday with two pit bulls nearby and stopped to check on the child, Stephens County Sheriff Jim Reeves said. When she left her car, the dogs became aggressive and she called 911, he said.
The dogs also became aggressive toward the two deputies who arrived, and they shot and killed them. The deputies found that Tanner was dead, Reeves said in today’s edition of the Abilene Reporter-News.

Last week we had a teacher smoking pot at school, now we have one getting hammered.
A substitute middle school teacher suspected of being drunk in class was too intoxicated to complete a sobriety test and was arrested, authorities said.
Thomas Brownlee, 56, was in a classroom Tuesday with students and another staff member for about 20 minutes, Richardson school district spokesman Tim Clark said. Another teacher suspected Brownlee was drunk and told a campus police officer.
A Dallas police report states that Brownlee “had slurred speech, breath smelling of an alcoholic beverage and bloodshot eyes.”
The officer stopped issuing a sobriety test out of concern for Brownlee’s safety, according to the report.

An 11-year-old in Texas died suddenly from a disease that’s not generally known to be fatal.
Paul Roscoe, of North Richland Hills, Texas, died after collapsing at his home Saturday morning.
His death was triggered by Kawasaki disease — a condition that affects children, especially boys, under the age of 5, and causes aneurysms and blockages in the blood vessels.
Dr. Scott Alenick, a pediatric cardiologist in Northern and Central New Jersey, said Kawasaki disease is fairly common; however it is extremely rare for someone to die from it.

A Dallas woman has been accused of grooming her daughter from the age of 12 to be a professional dominatrix, selling her services on the web since she was 14. And no, it’s not our very own Mominatrix, who endorses sex acts between consenting adults only!
The 44-year-old mother, whose name is not being published to protect the identity of her daughter, was arrested Friday. Also charged is Todd B. Barkau, 35, of New York state, who authorities say started advertising the girl on the Internet as a 19- to 20-year-old dominatrix when she was 14.
The mother is accused of encouraging and participating in the venture to exploit the girl, who is now 20.
Mr. Barkau and the mother once lived together in Blue Springs, Mo., where the business was allegedly run.

When you have potential evidence lodged in your skull, it is probably wise to cop a plea.
Investigators say that 19-year-old Joshua Bush was part of a group of gang members who broke into a Port Arthur used car lot in July 2006.
According to police, Bush tried to shoot businessman Alan Olive. Police say that when Olive returned fire, a bullet struck the teenager. Bush had claimed he had been accidentally shot by a friend.
Police and Jefferson County prosecutors wanted doctors to extract the bullet from Bush’s forehead. But Bush and his attorney fought the removal.

Police are trying to figure out what went on at a home in rural Houston where they found 5 bodies, including 3 children.
Although a .22 caliber rifle was found in the lap of an adult male, whose body was found on the porch, police declined to speculate on whether this might have been a murder-suicide, saying it was still early in their investigation. Besides the gun, shell casings were found around his body, police said.
Houston police Sgt. John Chomiak said investigators believed all five people lived in the home. Neighbors said the five people were a husband, wife and their three children.
Police did not immediately release the identities of the victims.
The bodies of a woman between 20 and 30 years old and a boy thought to be about 10 were found in one part of the home, Chomiak said.
The bodies of a boy thought to be between 3 and 5 and a girl believed to be between 4 and 6 were found in another part of the home, described by authorities as a simple wooden structure that was divided in the middle by the porch. A wooden fence and large trees in the front block a view of the home from the street.

“Dude.”
“What?”
“You know what would be FREAKIN’ AWESOME? If we dug up a grave and turned the skull into a bong!”
“WHOOOOOOO!”
Three teenagers were arrested after two of them told police they dug up a secluded grave north of Houston, removed the skull from the coffin and converted it into a marijuana bong.
Police found a grave in the city of Humble that had been disturbed, but were still investigating the rest of the teens’ story, Houston police Sgt. John Chomiak said.
Kevin Wade Jones, 17, and Matthew Richard Gonzalez, 17, both of Kingwood, were arrested Wednesday night and were being held on misdemeanor charges of abuse of a corpse, Chomiak said. The juvenile was referred to the Harris County juvenile justice system.

We can’t decide who’s more sick, the people running this place or the people going there.
Shauntel Mayo, 29, faces life in prison after being found guilty on charges that she forced three siblings, ages 7 through 10, to have sex with each other or perform sexual acts for club members who paid to watch.
In March, Mayo’s 36-year-old boyfriend, Jamie Pittman, was also found guilty in four minutes. He was sentenced to life in prison after jurors deliberated for just two minutes.
Some jurors cried during testimony in Mayo’s three-day trial, the Tyler Morning-Telegraph reported.

Finally some good news to report for once. A 7-year-old from Houston, Texas was reported missing Monday evening and his family went on a frantic search. The boy showed up safe to school this morning — apparently he decided to have an impromptu sleepover at a friend’s house. We’re guessing there’s not going to be any sleepovers again any time soon, if he even gets to see past the outside of his room for putting his family through that kind of worry…
Police and volunteers had been searching for Cesar Guerra since he was reported missing Monday evening after going out to ride his bike. He had last been seen in the 11000 block of Woodshadows.
The boy’s aunt, Monica Jimenez, went to Whittier Elementary School this morning in case he showed up — and he did.
