Posted February 18th, 2008 by minortopics | via www.cbs46.com

Police are reporting that a 14-year-old in Savannah, Georgia, is believed to have been abducted by three men:

A Garden City police detective said Michelle Smith has not been seen since she and another girl were forced into a black car around 4 p.m. Sunday.

The other girl, a 12-year-old, told police they were driven into Savannah and that she was sexually assaulted but managed to get out of the car and run away. The 12-year-old said Smith was also able to get out but the suspects chased her.

Police said Smith hasn’t been heard from since.

Nobody takes cookies from a girl scout and gets away with it

Posted January 15th, 2008 by minortopics | via www.foxnews.com

A girl scout was robbed during a cookie sale, by one of her customers. Lucky for her, the suspect wrote down her name and address on the order form so that police could arrest her quickly.

SAVANNAH, Ga. — A Girl Scout who was robbed while selling cookies led police straight to a 12-year-old suspect — who wrote her name and address on a cookie order form before the theft.

The Girl Scout, 10-year-old Nicole Grant, told police she was selling cookies with a friend Sunday when a girl ordered cookies from her, then snatched Nicole’s zip-top bag, containing $28 in cookie money, and fled on a bicycle.

“She’s still a little shook up, but she’s fine,” said Chris Grant, the Girl Scout’s father.
