It’s one thing for adults to blow themselves up, but why can’t they spare the children??? I know they’re crazy but that’s not the fault of these poor kids…

MOSCOW, Russia (CNN) — A doomsday cult leader whose followers are barricaded inside a cave in southern Russia will be taken to the site in an attempt to secure the release of several children, according to a government official.

The 29 cult members — including four children as young as 18 months — retreated last month to the hideout in the Penza region, about 640 kilometers (400 miles) southeast of Moscow, threatening to blow themselves up if the authorities tried to intervene.

How is this possible? How in the world can you just hitch a ride on the outside of a plane for two hours???

If this isn’t weird news, what the hell is??

MOSCOW (RIA Novosti) - A 15-year-old boy from the Urals suffered acute frostbite after riding in a Boeing-737 plane on a two-hour flight from Perm to Moscow, Russian radio station Mayak reported on Monday. Later reports said the boy had been riding in the wheel well of the airplane.

After surviving the 1,300-kilometer flight to Vnukovo Airport, the boy, named Andrei, collapsed onto the tarmac. His arms and legs were so severely frozen that rescuers were at first unable to remove his coat and shoes, the radio station said.

They grow ‘em big where produce lots of vodka, eh?

MOSCOW — A small Russian city just got a really big addition: its resident has delivered her 12th baby at 17.05 pounds _ the biggest on the nation’s record.

Tatiana Khalina, 42, delivered the girl by Caesarean section at a maternity clinic in Aleisk, a town of 30,000 in the Altai region in southern Siberia, Svetlana Gildeyeva, a nurse at the clinic, said Thursday.
