A woman in Idaho whose daughter was raped by her boyfriend and impregnated has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Judge Brent Moss sentenced 27-year old Isabel Chasarez to ten years after she pleaded guilty to felony injury to a child in August. These charges came after she didn’t get her daughter the prenatal care she needed.
Chasarez sobbed in the court room as the prosecution talked about her children.
“I’d like to see my kids — they’re all my life,” Chasarez said. “It’s all I have. It’s not fair because of what he did we all have to pay.”
Chasarez will have the possibility of parole after one year, but then she will be deported back to Mexico. If she does come back to the United States, she will be put on probation.

Call us spoil sports, but we don’t think we would let our kid get anywhere near a bison in the middle of a national park.
Park officials say witnesses reported that the boy was posing last week with members of his family within 1-2 feet of the mature bull bison. The bison flipped the boy about 10 feet in the air.
The incident occurred on a trail near the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.
Although the boy’s visible injuries were limited to abrasions, he complained of abdominal pain. He was flown to the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.

A man who brutally killed his 15 month old son by beating him to death, lost his legs when he wandered out in freezing cold weather shortly after the murder.
He is saying that the prison system owes him prosthetic legs. He probably thinks he’s owed prime rib with that too. It’s bad enough that the waste of life will likely be free in a matter of 10 - 15 years.
I say, stick a few broom handles in his nubs and call it a day! *@#er! He deserves squat.
Included in the lawsuit were numerous requests by McAdoo for artificial legs and a grievance with the state agency over the denial of artificial legs, all rejected by state prison officials.
McAdoo, convicted of beating his 15-month-old son Brandon to death, is serving 15 years to life at the Idaho State Correctional Institution in Boise.
He told authorities that when the little boy stopped breathing on Jan. 14, 2005, he downed 50 sleeping pills and rat poison, left the trailer where he lived with his pregnant wife, Angela Cowles, and wandered outdoors in freezing weather for three days before he sought help.
McAdoo was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Wash., where both legs had to be amputated because of frostbite.
