Authorities believe they may have enough evidence to charge a mother who’s 4 children were trapped inside a house where a fire started inside the house. The mother was the only one that got away without injury. Her 1 year old died.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A 1-year-old girl was killed in an explosion and fire Monday night in Colorado Springs and authorities said they have enough evidence to charge the child’s mother with the death.
Police received a 911 call reporting a possible explosion in the 3200 block of Galena Court at 10:01 p.m. and the first officers to arrive pulled four children from the house: a 3-year-old girl, a 5-year-old boy, an 8-year-old boy and a 9-year-old boy.
The 3-year-old girl and 8-year-old boy were transported by ambulance to The Children’s Hospital in Aurora because weather conditions prevented a medical helicopter transfer.
The 8-year-old and 9-year-old boys were reported to be in critical condition. The 5-year-old boy was in guarded condition, according to a press release.

Nice to have some inspiring news for once. Even though the house and their belongings were lost, a brave and responsible 6 year old boy is a hero to his family as he alerted his father and saved his toddler sister from his house that was a ablaze.
Good job, Jonathan James. You rock!
UNION COUNTY, N.C. — Fire officials in Union County are crediting a 6-year-old boy with saving his 2-year-old sister’s life by getting her out of their burning mobile home safely. “When she was in the house, I picked her up and walked out with her,” said Jonathan James.
The boy’s father, Charlie James, said he was cleaning in another room when his sons ran in to tell him the home was on fire. “As soon as I opened the door, smoked started rolling in. I ran and Jonathan grabbed my daughter and the other two kids and they went running out.”

What a surprise, and the father is the only survivor with what may be self inflicted stab wounds, when he killed his four small children by stabbing them and his wife. How conveeeenient that he would come out the only survivor, unless his wife was acting in self defense, but my guess is the wounds are a result of a botched suicide. Too bad. He doesn’t deserve to live.
How is it that so many “parents” can torture and murder their children as if it were as common place as picking out salad dressing.
MASON — A Mason man is charged with murder after his wife and four children died in a house fire late Friday.
The fire broke out shortly before 10 p.m. at a home on Brackenview Court.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the two-story home at the end of a cul-de-sac.
Police said that Nadya Ferrari Veillette, 33, and children Marguarite, 8, Vincent, 4, and Jacob and Mia, both 3, died at the scene or at Children’s Hospital.
