A 12 year old, North Carolina child, was attacked by 5 feral dogs while she played basketball in her driveway. Her brother, the hero, was successful in fighting the dogs off but not before they took a few hefty chunks out of his little sister…she is now recovering.

Sanford — A 12-year-old Harnett County girl was recovering at home Wednesday after being attacked by a pack of dogs outside her home.

Melissa Rollins was playing basketball with her 13-year-old brother, Kevin, last Thursday outside their home on Rosser Pittman Road when five dogs – three adults and two pups – emerged from a nearby field. One of the larger dogs lunged at Melissa and began dragging her to a nearby woods line.

A soldier comes home only to find that his 11 month old daughter is missing. The truth is, her mother knew exactly where she was…

SPRING LAKE, N.C. — Authorities on Saturday found the body of a missing 11-month-old girl hidden in the attic of her home.

Harmony Creech had been dead for three or four weeks, Harnett County Sheriff Larry Rollins announced Saturday night.

Charges were expected soon against the child’s mother, Johni Michelle Heuser, Rollins said. On Saturday, she told investigators she had found the baby dead in its crib and concealed the body in the attic of her home.
