A little boy was duct taped, bound and held over a trash can as punishment at a Texas daycare center.
Poor little guy. He’s only 4.
Suffice it to say, these people should not be in the business of caring for and protecting children.
George Block, 48, and his wife, Julia Block, 47, manager of the Young Years Day Care Center in Jasper, were charged with child endangerment.
They each face up to two years in state jail if convicted.
According to an arrest affidavit, George Block bound the boy’s wrists and feet on March 3 with duct tape before dangling him over a “metal trash dumpster” at the day care center.
Court papers say Julia Block approved her husband’s actions as discipline for the boy “after a day of very disruptive behavior.” George Block does not work at the day care center.
The 5-foot-10, 240-pound George Block is known at the facility as “Bigfoot.”
The boy told child abuse investigators that “Bigfoot” wrapped his wrists and ankles with tape and held him over a large trash receptacle, according to court papers.

I don’t understand it. Why, oh why, do people that have no respect for children and get off on humiliating them and torturing them bother to have kids. Why not just give them up for adoption? If you hate your kids so much, and you’re so terribly ignorant and screwed up that you can’t prevent yourself from hurting them, then why keep ‘em around?…to feel superior? To feel powerful?
We’ll be watching this story to see if these a-holes get their kids back. If you see James Dickinsen or Sarah Dickinsen anytime soon, make sure you give them a nice friendly beat down with a belt and make them walk the streets without pants.
On Oct. 18, a Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department investigator and a Department of Human Services case worker spoke with a 6-year-old boy at Cadott Elementary School. The boy had a large bruise on his left upper hip area, a bruise across his back above the belt line and bruising on the left jaw and ear area. The investigators indicate they learned that the boy’s mother had slapped him on the face and his step-father had used a belt to punish him.
The investigators were also made aware of an incident in which, after being struck with a belt, the boy was duct taped to his step-brother as they were standing outside with their pants off, and water was was poured on them.
