Kimberly Trenor, the woman who beat her daughter Riley — known as “Baby Grace” — to death has given birth to a son while behind bars. The court is now trying to decide who gets custody of the child. Amazingly, the father of the boy, Royce Clyde Zeigler — also indicted in Riley’s murder, is refusing to relinquish his parental rights to the baby. Hey, you did that the moment you laid your hands on that little girl, you piece of shit.
Child Protective Services, which assumed emergency custody of the newborn Friday morning, must now ask a judge to revoke Zeigler’s parental rights at a hearing Monday in Houston, said Estella Olguin, a CPS spokeswoman.
The [adoptive] couple in Dallas have already undergone background checks, Olguin said, and CPS would attempt to interview them before Monday’s hearing so they can take immediate custody if the judge so orders.
If the judge does not end Zeigler’s parental rights, the child will be placed in foster care, she said. The judge could assign a child advocate to recommend the child’s best interest, Olguin said.
CPS would not have been involved had Zeigler signed the adoption papers, Olguin said.

I hope these monsters get punished to the fullest extent of the law.
Rot in prison you SOB’s.
I hope the jury is does not allow this toddler to die in vain and go the route of Andrea Yates on the mother, declaring her the real victim. I will have to puke if that happens.
HOUSTON — A grand jury has indicted the mother and stepfather of ‘Baby Grace’ with capital murder charges.
Royce Zeigler II and Kimberly Trenor originally were facing injury with a child charges, but after Trenor had admitted last month she she and Zeigler had killed Riley Ann Sawyers, also known as “Baby Grace,” prosecutors sought capital murder charges. However, the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office hasn’t determined whether it will be seeking a death penalty.

The tormented abuse that lead to Riley Ann Sawyers death just keeps getting more unbelievable. It has now been revealed that the mother, Kimberly Trenor is pregnant!
Davis also said his client’s wife is pregnant and being housed in the medical wing of the Galveston County Jail.
Trenor is being kept in the medical wing probably out of fear that other inmates might attack her because of the nature of the allegations, Child Protective Services spokeswoman Estella Olguin said.
Galveston County sheriff’s spokesman Maj. Ray Tuttoilmondo said he is prevented by law from discussing an inmate’s medical condition, but in general, inmates are isolated when other inmates pose a threat.
If Trenor gives birth while in custody, she will not be allowed to keep the child, Olguin said. She said Trenor is 5 feet 7 inches tall and 125 pounds and does not show, so it’s unlikely that she is more than two months pregnant.

Little Riley was beaten over a 6 hour period, because at age 2, she wasn’t comprehending how to consistantly answer to “Yes, sir” and say “please” and “thank you”, so her step-father and mother beat her continually, threw her head against the tile floor and held her head under water in order for her to comply to the abusers unrealistic demands.
Poor Riley had no chance. Her “mother” and step-father apparently got off on torturing and seeing a baby suffer.
Zeigler wanted his wife to spank Riley with a belt when she failed to say things like “please” and “yes sir” or “no sir,” Stickler said Wednesday. Zeigler didn’t believe Trenor was doing it, however, because the 2-year-old’s behavior wasn’t changing.
The fatal beating happened after Zeigler stayed home from work to make sure his wife was following his discipline plan, Stickler said.
In her statement to Galveston authorities, Trenor said the girl was beaten with leather belts, had her head held underwater in a bathtub and then was thrown across a room, her head slamming into a tile floor.

Authorities feel that they have identified “Baby Grace” as Riley Ann Sawyers of Ohio, even before the DNA tests have come back…
GALVESTON, Texas — An Ohio family that called Texas investigators over concerns that “Baby Grace” might have been their young relative received a personal visit confirming that police believe their fears were true.
Authorities are awaiting DNA test results but have tentatively identified the girl whose remains washed ashore on Galveston Bay last month as 2-year-old Riley Ann Sawyers of Spring, said Maj. Ray Tuttoilmondo of the Galveston County Sheriff’s Department.
The parents have been arrested, but the reasons why have not yet been released.
After police searched their home, they were arrested early Saturday and charged with injury to a child and tampering with evidence, Tuttoilmondo said. The couple remain jailed on bonds of $350,000 each.

Police try to find out if toddler is that of a known, missing person:
HOUSTON — The body of a young girl that washed ashore in a storage box on Galveston Bay, Texas last week could have come from anywhere, police said Sunday, and has actually been ruled out as being that of missing British toddler Madeleine McCann.
“We’re confident it’s not her,” Galveston County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Maj. Ray Tuttoilmondo told FOX News.
The Gulf Intercoastal Waterway, where the box containing the body was found, is a major commercial port, and Galveston a popular tourist destination with a transient population, Tuttoilmondo said. Unclaimed and unidentified in Galveston, “Baby Grace,” as police have named her, could be very far from home. Her identity is considered a global mystery.

Police have yet to find out the identity of “Baby Grace”. They’ve issued a public plea for anyone that knows this little girl to come forward.
Barry used the name given to the dead girl by stymied investigators who have received few leads and none that have brought them closer to knowing who the girl is.
The investigators gathered outside the Galveston County Medical Examiner’s office today to issue an international plea for public help in identifying the 2- to 5-year-old girl whose body was stuffed in a storage box and hidden in the bay for as long as several weeks, according to autopsy results released today.
The autopsy showed that the child “had skull fractures…and there was no other trauma found,” Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Stephen Pustilnik said. He said he could not tell yet exactly what caused her death.
