An Arizona Jr. High School bans hugs lasting longer than 2 seconds to try to squelch increasing public displays of affection, but the students aren’t going to take this with their arms folded…
The “no-hugging” rule had previously been in the student handbook. After many students began expressing concern about public hugging and kissing in the hallways, the school began reinforcing the guideline by punishing huggers, which led to Friday’s protest.
Prior to the demonstration, the district said the principal and students brokered an agreement to clarify the “no-hugging” rule. According to the guidelines, small hugs, less than two seconds, are permitted but longer ones and kissing are not.
“We can only hug two seconds? That’s ridiculous,” Branham said. “It’s barely even a hug.”

With the prevalence of naughty pics online these days, please stay at home to take care of your “needs”, you pervs:
A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of masturbating in front of three children at a Mesa-area school, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday.
Jason Zuchowski faces six felony counts after the children, a 10-year-old and two 11-year-olds, closely observed his pickup truck, license plate and other details Saturday, Feb. 16 the Sheriff’s Office said.
A Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman said the suspect drove around the Taft Elementary School playground up to four times before he stopped along the fence, pulled out a pornographic magazine, and started the sex act inside the vehicle.
Smith said the suspect told investigators he was “at the wrong place at the wrong time.”
Just curious as to when the “right” time would have been.

While this could be a very dangerous situation, my hope is that this dumb 13 year old was arrested to scare the be-Jesus outta him and that they’ll drop the charges (assuming he doesn’t already have a record).
He’s dumb. He’s a kid. He needs some sense knocked into him, not prison time, in my opinion.
A 13-year-old boy was arrested Monday night on suspicion of reckless endangerment after he allegedly pointed a green laser at a Phoenix Police Department helicopter, police said.
The helicopter was struck with the laser around 6:30 p.m., police said.
“As soon as I saw the light, I tried to turn my eyes away,” said Phoenix police Officer Bruce Bates, who had been flying the helicopter Monday night.

Poor little baby…when accidents happen, it can create a domino effect. For this little 3 year old, it looks as if she’ll recover from her 3 accident trauma.
A 3-year-old girl in Mesa, Ariz., escaped with several serious wounds after a trifecta of unfortunate accidents, MyFoxPhoenix.com reported Tuesday.
The girl was playing in her backyard Monday and was somehow able to climb to the top of a cinderblock fence, when she fell off the wall and landed on a neighbor’s cactus plant, MyFoxPhoenix.com reported. She was subjected to further bad luck when the neighbor’s two dogs bit her and dragged her across the yard.

After a 12 year old is beaten to death by her parents, they proceed to leave her body on the floor for a few days before they call the police. They probably decided to do that after the body’s odor overcame them.
Wow. Just Wow.
PHOENIX — A 12-year-old girl was beaten with an electrical cord, and her parents left her dead body on the floor of her bedroom for days before they called 911, according to court documents released Tuesday.
Police arrested the girl’s father, 34-year-old Jeffrey Duchane Jr., and stepmother, 25-year-old Reiko Troupe, after officers were called to the house on Saturday. Troupe was jailed on suspicion of first-degree murder and child abuse. Duchane was jailed on suspicion of child abuse.
Both were scheduled to appear in Maricopa County Superior Court on Nov. 19. The Associated Press asked the county Sheriff’s Office to interview Duchane and Troupe, but those requests went unanswered Tuesday.
According to court documents, Troupe told police that she didn’t harm the girls and blamed Duchane for disciplining the children.

In Arizona, a substitute bus driver tells a 5 year old boy to get off of the bus nearly 6 miles from where his mother was waiting for him.
So, this bus driver gets the “Friday A-Hole” award. The boy didn’t want to get off at that stop, but the bus driver insisted.
Normally, I’m not for petty lawsuits, but I’m thinkin’ the parents should sue the school district and transporation company. It’s just plain negligence and according to the mother, the bus driver is not even being reprimanded or asked to apologize.
Jerk. Jerk. Jerk.
A five-year-old boy is safe Thursday after a substitute bus driver told the boy to get off at the wrong stop, almost six miles from where his mother was waiting to pick him up.
The incident resulted in a frantic search Tuesday afternoon by family members and employees of Puente DeHozho School where Tyler Figueroa attends kindergarten.

A mother, working at Hooters in Pheonix, Arizona, allegedly forgot her toddler in the back seat of her car when she went to work. She forgot to drop her baby off at daycare and returned to her car where she discovered her dead son.
This happens so often and why??? Why are parents forgetting about their most precious cargo? Why are daily distractions enough to forget about your own baby? Why is it so common? Could this happen to you??
PHOENIX — A 17-month-old boy left unattended inside a hot car for at least seven hours in a north Phoenix Hooters restaurant parking lot was found dead Tuesday afternoon.
FOX 10 Phoenix reports the baby’s mother had planned to drop the child off at childcare before heading to work at a restaurant near Bell Road and Interstate 17.
Instead, authorities say the mother went to work with the child still inside the car.

How cruel can one be? After a 5 year old girl is taken away from her biological mom for abusing her, she is left in the care of her father and step-mother who beat regularly with a computer chord and belt and put her in humiliating positions and beat her.
At least the school took a proactive approach instead of pretending it didn’t exist or that it was none of their business. I pray this little girl will be given a chance at life…hopefully she will be removed from these evil people. They don’t deserve any of their children. Why even have children if you’re going to use them as nothing mor than a punching bag?
A Mesa father repeatedly beat his 5-year-old daughter with a military belt and computer cord while she was in a push-up position with her pants down because she wasn’t doing her homework, according to police.
The girl had nearly 100 bruises on her back, legs, arms, buttocks and chest, and investigators called it one of the five worst cases they have handled, Mesa police spokeswoman Diana Tapia said.

Forget giving every baby a $5,000 bond when they’re born as Hillary so obtusely suggested. Why don’t we have nurses check up on babies after they’ve left the hospital to see what kind of conditions they live in and whether or not they’re being cared for?
Andrea Rotondo is facing child endangerment charges after police found her 2-year-old son wandering around by himself.
Rotondo, 44, rents at the The Scottsdale Belle Rive Apartments off McDowell.
Neighbors say just before six-thirty Sunday night they spotted a young boy walking around wearing nothing but a soiled diaper.

So senseless. I swear, if anybody comes to this mother’s defense, simply because she’s a woman, then shame on you!!!! I’m sure somebody could easily find ways to excuse this mothers behavior by explaining that she’s a battered woman or has self esteem issues.
This woman denied the boy’s father visitation rights. What a selfish, heartless and very stupid woman. I hope to God she does not get off on some lame plea bargain.
The grisly tale of a 6-year-old San Jose boy allegedly beaten to death in February by his mother’s boyfriend was delivered at a somber news conference this afternoon in San Jose.
The victim, Oscar Jimenez Jr., was allegedly beaten to death Feb. 18 by his mother’s boyfriend, Samuel Corona, 34, for allegedly threatening the man’s 1-year-old son. The alleged murder took place at a San Jose apartment in the 100 block of Hayes Avenue.
A choked-up San Jose police Chief Rob Davis said that Corona warned Oscar’s mother, “Say goodbye to your son,” and then fatally beat him in front of her.
