Looks like Birdie Avery pissed off a few delinquents in her life or Lebanon Oregon is a cr@phole or insanely boring…
LEBANON, Ore. — A Lebanon couple said Tuesday they were the victims of a sick joke after someone used their name to list a baby for sale.
An ad on Craigslist.org said the baby’s mother wasn’t coming back. It also said the posters of the ad were out of “tweak,” or drugs, and would sell the baby for $1,000.
An e-mail address attached to the ad included the name Birdie Avery. But a woman who shares the same name in Lebanon said she doesn’t recognize the baby. She said she and her husband don’t own a computer.

You know what might hurt your chance for winning public office more than some crazy talk from your pastor? Being a registered sex offender. But that’s not stopping James Brian Sliter, 42, who was arrested for soliciting sex from a 15-year-old — he’s running for mayor of Wilmer, Texas. We can see the mailer design of his opponent already.
[Sliter] said he is sorry and needs to prove he can be an asset to his suburban Dallas community.
“People need to realize that people make mistakes, and they need to look past those mistakes and forgive and move on,” Sliter told Dallas television station KTVT. “I’m not asking anybody to condone what I did.”
Sliter was charged with attempting to commit sexual assault of a child and was placed on 10 years probation, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
He is eligible to run for office because he was never convicted, instead receiving deferred adjudication.

A man and woman walked into a church in Queens, New York and gave the priest there a dead, decomposed baby and asked him to perform a religious burial for it. It’s being speculated that the couple’s teenage daughter had given birth to the baby then hid the baby before she ran away. All righty, then! That’s quite the saga!
The couple arrived at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, at 104-11 37th Avenue in Corona, with the body in a bag after an evening Mass, Mr. Browne said. They told the priest that they had found the body in a closet at their home. After the three of them prayed over the body, the couple left, and the priest called the police, Mr. Browne said.
The priest told the police that he did not know the couple, but believed that they might be parishioners.
The Rev. Thomas Healy, the priest at the church, was not available for comment on Thursday, his secretary said.

Stacey Herald, a woman from northern Kentucky, gave birth to a baby girl 18 inches long — not exactly astonishing until you realize that Herald is only 28 inches tall herself.
“I’m 28 1/2 inches, head to heel,” said Herald, who was born with osteogenesis imperfecta.
Herald’s 16-month-old daughter, Katira, also suffers from the genetic disorder that causes bones to break easily, but her youngest daughter, Makaia, is expected to grow to average height.
“’Yesterday I was five weeks old, (and) I’m already over half as big as my mommy,’” said Herald, changing her infant daughter’s diaper.
Officials from the Guinness Book of World Records are investigating Herald’s claim as she savors the joys of motherhood with her husband, Wil Herald, who is studying to become a minister.

An 16 month old baby who had drowned in a backyard pool and declared brain dead and without a pulse, suddenly shocked doctors and family when he came back to life. This all happened while family was deliberating on whether or not to donate his organs. Medical experts believed him to be dead and today, he suffers no side effects from being dead.
Freeeeeaaaakkkay.
The baby was cold, blue and foaming at the mouth and nose, Ross said.
Doctors estimate Michael drowned 30 minutes before he arrived at the hospital. Michael arrived at the hospital in complete cardiopulmonary arrest, authorities said.
At the hospital, Avila was hysterical at the sight of her baby on life support. She was told the first 72 hours were critical and there was no guarantee Michael would make it.
His pulse finally returned after one hour and 10 minutes of using an oxygen bag to inflate his lungs and chest compressions to circulate his blood.

PACE, Fla. — An 8-year-old boy and his friend found a live, World War II-era hand grenade while searching for buried treasure with a metal detector.
Sidney Mathis and his friend had found nails, bolts and a toy car by sweeping the detector over a field near their home Thursday. But it was their other find that alarmed Sidney’s father, Chris Mathis.
He arrived home Thursday to find the boys about to put the grenade into a bucket of water. Chris Mathis grabbed the grenade and dangled it outside the window of his sport utility vehicle as he drove away from the apartment complex.

No it’s not some sort of new fad diet, a mysterious disease causes 17-year-old Natalie Cooper to vomit after eating solids and the only thing she can hold down are the tiny Tic Tac mints. She has to receive all of her real nourishment through a feeding tube that passes a special formula directly into her stomach. We think Ms. Cooper has officially topped the kid that can only eat deer meat.
“[Mints] do give me a bit of energy, but I eat them mostly to get rid of hunger. It is psychological,” the Mirror quoted Natalie, as saying.
“When they started to come back up, I started reducing the size. I went from Trebor Extra Strong Mints to Polos and ended up with Tic Tacs,” she added.
Her condition, which she has had all her life, has left medics puzzled.

Jennifer and her husband tried to free Donivan using a crow bar, but she says, “his one leg was bent and his back was compressed against the agitator.”

Seven suicides, with a few botched attempts leaves people wondering, what is going on this town that is influencing teenagers to take their own lives?
A special taskforce began its inquiry into the recent suicides in Bridgend, south Wales, today, as it emerged that another teenager attempted to hang herself last week.
The taskforce, which includes police, children’s services and mental health experts, is examining dozens of apparently copycat suicides by young people in Bridgend since 2004.
The most recent was the death of Natasha Randall, 17, who was found hanged in a bedroom at her home in Blaengarw last Thursday.
The next day, Leah Phillips, one of Randall’s 15-year-old schoolfriends, was found hanging at her home in Pontycymmer. The girl’s stepfather said he had cut her down and given her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. She survived and is now recovering at home.

A baby was tossed out with the laundry, by accident and the parents are pissed. Rightfully so.
Kourtney McGee of Cleburne went to Huguley in July because she was bleeding in her second trimester, then gave birth to Jacob Dwayne Robinson. Staff told McGee and Milburn “Pete” Robinson of Alvarado, the baby’s father, that the body would be taken the morgue.
But when the funeral director arrived, he was told the body could not be found. The baby’s body was not refrigerated when it got to the morgue but instead was sent to a commercial cleaner with the laundry, according to the suit.
The lawsuit contends Huguley Memorial Medical Center breached its duty to care for, handle, maintain and/or prepare for burial. The lawsuit alleges negligence, which is the failure to extend ordinary care, and gross negligence, which shows either reckless conduct or conscious disregard for the family’s rights.
