756 cases of bagged salad are being recalled by Dole because they could be contaminated with Salmonella. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall by Britax on some of their Chaperone Infant Child Restraint systems. The NHTSA found during testing that if a harness adjuster detaches from the seat, a child might not be properly restrained. Britax is offering replacement kits for free. Just before Christmas the Consumer Product Safety Commission along with Build-A-Bear, announced they were recalling over a quarter million stuffed animals. Wal-Mart has admitted to pulling a batch of powdered infant formula from stores across the nation after a Missouri newborn became gravely ill with a suspected infection and died. U.S. Food and Drug Administration says that the Wegmans supermarket chain is recalling 5,000 pounds of pine nuts from Turkey due to possible salmonella contamination.
