A 9-year-old boy in Kortedala, Sweden, pointed a gun — discovered later to be a toy — at onlookers and shouted “it’s loaded!”. He then tried to break into parked car, but was unsuccessful. He managed to gain access to a second car and drove away, leaving witnesses shocked.
Unfortunately, he chose an electric car that goes 18 mph……tops. A few witnesses got into their cars and engaged in a slow pursuit. He crashed 10 minutes later at a roundabout, where a man grabbed the boy as he tried to run away and held him until police arrived.
He will not be charged with a crime because in Sweden he is considered too young for charges. Instead, the case will be turned over to social services.
