Adele has been with her current boyfriend, Simon Konecki, since January 2012 and after only 6 months of dating, the couple has just announced that Adele is pregnant.
An anonymous source told The Daily Star that Adele has always wanted children, but wanted to wait, however, after meeting and falling in low with her new beau Simon Konecki, she changed her mind and wanted to get pregnant sometime this year.
The 24-year-old, Grammy award record breaking singer and songwriter wrote on her website today:
“Im delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx”
This will be Adele’s first child and her boyfriends second. Konecki already has a 5-year-old daughter from a previous marriage. Adele and Konecki’s daughter have really hit it off according to sources close to the star.
Konecki is an ex-investment banker and current CEO of the charity Drop4Drop which supplies clean water to the needy.
Adele and Konecki recently bought a country estate in the U.K. with plenty of room to nurture a growing family.
