A Nevada high school is sending its graduates 200 new diplomas after the originals contained the word “graduataion” instead of “graduation.”
The principal of Spring Creek High, Keith Walz, has apologized and called it an “inadvertent mistake.” He said that the school only checked the kids’ names and that of school personnel.
Meanwhile, the company that printed the diplomas — Jostens out of Salt Lake City — is claiming full responsibility for the error and is sending new diplomas to the school free of charge.
