A Lubbock, Texas toddler was caught on video being ejected from an SUV as it rolled over several times. Miraculously, the 18-month-old toddler was unharmed as a woman got out of the SUV and went to her aid.
The SUV was being chased by Texas police after one of it’s passenger’s stopped a 19-year-old woman in a nearby parking lot and demanded her purse and her money. The victim, Chelsea Betenbough, said the thief told her that if she didn’t hand over her purse, he would shoot her.
Betenbough then called police who located the vehicle minutes later. The suspects lead police on a high speed chase, that’s when the suspects vehicle crashed and rolled over several times, ejecting the toddler from the window and onto the pavement. A woman got out of the crashed vehicle, whom witnesses believe may have been the tots mother, and grabbed the tot who was seen stumbling, trying to make her way back to the truck.
Witnesses said they saw the suspects running with the child. Police eventually caught up with them and arrested 17-year-old Kenny Shawn Jimenez and three other teens.
