British Prime minister David Cameron confirmed today that a few months ago he and his wife accidentally left their 8-year-old daughter Nancy behind in a pub.

While Nancy was in the bathroom, the family left in two cars. Cameron and his security were in one car, and his wife Samanatha and their other two children were in the other car. Each parent assumed Nancy was in the car with the other parent. It wasn’t until they arrived home that they discovered she was missing. Luckily, the called the pub and Nancy was there, safe and sound. Within 15 minutes one of the Camerons was back to pick her up.

Unfortunately for Cameron, this incident occurred only weeks after his government announced a new program providing parenting classes to parents of young children.
