A family in Hartford, Connecticut is grieving the death of their 2-year-old daughter, who fell to her death from an open 4th floor window on Saturday.
The family recently moved into the apartment on Wyllys Street. A reporter from WTNH saw no screens on the windows of the 4th floor of the apartment complex. Neighbor Zenaida Rivera showed the reporter how she pushes the window down halfway and then locks it to protect her children from the 40 foot drop. The landlord told Rivera he would be bringing screens for the windows tonight.
