Jackie Wayne Robson, 48, of Porter, Indiana was arrested on two counts of molesting a child younger than 14. Robson is a registered sex offender, convicted of vicarious sexual gratification for molesting an eight year-old girl in 2008. He was sentenced to three years, with all but 90 days suspended.

According to a probably cause affidavit filed by the Porter County Police Department, a mother reported in July of 2011 that her daughter had been touched inappropriately by Robson on two occasions. Robson is accused of entering a room while she was visiting with a friend at his home, exposing himself to both girls and telling them that he “wanted to do something to them…that it would feel good.” He told the girls that he would “not tell their mothers either.”

Robson is accused of touching the girl inappropriately on a separate occasion in her own home while his wife was visiting with the victim’s mother.

When questioned by police, the girl’s friend denied the allegations, looking at the floor and telling Det. Gene Hopkins of PCPD that she was scared. The friend told Hopkins that Robson did not touch her or her friends. When Hopkins asked the girl who had told her to say that, she said her mom had. Further questioning about what else the girl’s mother had to say resulted only in shrugged shoulders and the girl telling Hopkins, “I just know he doesn’t do it.”

Robson is charged with one Class A and one Class C felony count for the incidents. At present time he is still in custody at the Porter County Jail with a bond of $50,000.
