A man and his girlfriend have been arrested after a young girl told police she was told to watch the couple have sex.
Scott Joseph Trader, 26, and Katrina Anay Varner, 19, have been charged with felony lewd or lascivious exhibition after Port St. Lucie, Fla., police talked to the girl, now 6, who said the incident happened around Christmas of last year when she was five years old.
Trader did reportedly admit to the police that the girl had witnessed him and Varner having sex, but it was around Valentine’s Day when Trader says the girl walked in on the couple, who both say they were covered.
The girl insisted she was not lying, and she did not want police to tell Trader she had talked to them, saying he would be mad at her, according to TCPalm.com.
An ex-girlfriend interviewed by police told them that while she was dating Trader he often made “extremely inappropriate statements” about the girl, and admitted to her that he had fantasies about inappropriate touching.
The girl’s relationship to Trader was unreported.
Trader’s second charge against him pertained to a video they had discovered of Trader, then 20, having sex with a 7 months pregnant 17-year-old.
Both Trader and Varner were being held in St. Lucie County Jail on no bail.
