On October 18, WDRB News reported a Louisville, Ky. man, 21-year old Roderick James Williams, admitted to abusing his girlfriend’s toddler.

The 15-month old boy is battling life-threatening injuries. Williams was alone with the child and admitted to shaking the child for about two minutes, then threw the child in his crib and held him down until he called 911. Williams is six foot 9 and weighs 235 pounds.

A Kosair Children’s Hospital spokesperson reported the toddler has bleeding on the brain, a skull fracture, a damaged pancreas and liver, broken ribs  and bruises all over his body.

Williams pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and first degree assault. Police indicated those charges could be increased if the toddler dies from his injuries. Williams bond is $100,000 cash.

What is with these mothers today…..they date lowlife non-working animals who come into their home and beat and abuse their children….REALLY, is this the ultimatum working moms are given over Daycare. Free babysitting from men like this.
I cant even imagine what goes through the minds of these woman. there has to be some kind of indication that a person has violent tendencies. Everyone looses it once in awhile but to take your anger and frustration out on a Baby. There are no excuses. Pure Evil and the mothers in these situations should face charges as well. I wish this baby a speedy recovery and hope he is able to live a happy life.
