In a tweet, the star of LA Ink, Kat Von D, aka Katherine Drachenberg, announced to the world that she will not be marrying fellow reality star Jessie James. “I am no longer w Jesse and out of respect for him, his family and myself, thats all the info I’d like to share. Thanks for respecting that.”

James also made public statements about the breakup, saying the distance was too much for the couple. “I’m so sad because I really love her,” Jesse told People magazine. “The distance between us was just too much.” James resides in Texas with his three children from a previous marriage. Von D lives in Los Angeles where she films her reality show.
In a interview earlier this year, James told Howard Stern about the chemistry between them. ”She’s a vixen,” he said. ”The way she gets in my head and makes me feel.”
“We’re just connected on a whole different level.”
The news comes not long after the very public breakup between James and actress Sandra Bullock. The couple split after it was revealed that James had cheated on the star repeatedly. Before the breakup, Bullock was a champion for James during his custody battles with his second wife Janine Lindemulder, reports E! Online. There were even rumors that Bullock was planning to adopt James’ three children, Chandler, 15, Jesse Jr., 12, and Sunny, 6. However, her publicist quickly squashed the reports. ”There are no plans, nor have there ever been any plans, for Sandra Bullock to adopt any of Jesse James’ children.” Their divorce was final in 2010.
It’s unclear who initiated this breakup, James or Von D, but it seems it may have been James whose heart was broken this time around. ”I fell in love with my best friend, James told People in 2010. “An amazing woman who stood behind me when the world turned their backs.” “I have never met anyone so kind and loving and committed to making the world a better place every day. My love for her is beyond description. So honored that she said ‘yes.’ Growing old with her is going to be a f—-n’ blast!”
