which ultimately killed her, are allowing their attorney to blame their toddler son for her fatal injuries. According to cincinnati.com, police are accusing the father, Benjamin Senseman age 32, of causing the type of blow to the infants head that would be equivalent to the blunt force trauma of a major car accident. The couple were both at work at the time of the baby’s death and are using their 2 year old son’s aggressive behavior as their defense. The medical examiner assigned to the case pointed out that this is highly improbable being that a toddler would not have the physical strength to cause such injuries. The mother, Laura Sensemen has also been charged because authorities believe she knew about the abuse but did nothing to stop it.

A former babysitter has testified that the toddler, Cole Senseman, exhibited aggressive behavior and was jealous of his sister to the point of concern. One of the Grandmother’s has also said that the boy once gave her a black eye and played violently. Another family member gave conflicting statements in saying that the boy was loving towards his baby sister. One has to wonder, where did this boy learn this violent behavior from? On the other hand, some children are born with violent tendencies and/or with mental illnesses, so this case’s outcome should be interesting. If the parents are using baby Cole as a scapegoat, that’s just evil.

What is wrong with people these days….noone has any patience with children ..I feel they r guilty and 2 try 2 blame a toddler just shows they r reachin for an alibi because they r guilty

an infant’s skull is still “soft” and if this 2 yr old was capable of giving somebody a “black eye”, he could also inflict such a blow.
and why would this have to be a learned behaviour ? he’s 2 years old,and also reported to be jealous (normal) of the newest addition to the family.

back a while there was the case of another toddler that smothered an infant by tossing many many toys into and onto the infant–was that a learned behaviour ? rage ? or simply a good natured kid giving the toys to a crying baby to try and stop the noise ????

could be the same thing here—except this kid thumped the poor baby on the head
and where was the child minder / baby sitter ?
One must always guard their infants from the other kids, pets etc.

    horrible story all the same.
