which ultimately killed her, are allowing their attorney to blame their toddler son for her fatal injuries. According to
cincinnati.com, police are accusing the father, Benjamin Senseman age 32, of causing the type of blow to the infants head that would be equivalent to the blunt force trauma of a major car accident. The couple were both at work at the time of the baby’s death and are using their 2 year old son’s aggressive behavior as their defense. The medical examiner assigned to the case pointed out that this is highly improbable being that a toddler would not have the physical strength to cause such injuries. The mother, Laura Sensemen has also been charged because authorities believe she knew about the abuse but did nothing to stop it.
A former babysitter has testified that the toddler, Cole Senseman, exhibited aggressive behavior and was jealous of his sister to the point of concern. One of the Grandmother’s has also said that the boy once gave her a black eye and played violently. Another family member gave conflicting statements in saying that the boy was loving towards his baby sister. One has to wonder, where did this boy learn this violent behavior from? On the other hand, some children are born with violent tendencies and/or with mental illnesses, so this case’s outcome should be interesting. If the parents are using baby Cole as a scapegoat, that’s just evil.
