Toddler dies of abuse days after DCFS dismisses allegations

How incompetent does The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services have to be to dismiss allegations of abuse against little Ruben Ramirez, only to have the toddler die of abuse and torture at the hands of his acquitted caregivers.

It’s bull.

WHITTIER - The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services investigated a report last year that 18-month-old Ruben Ramirez was being abused and neglected. It later ruled the allegations as inconclusive and closed the case Oct. 28, 2008.

Six days later, the Whittier toddler was dead.

Coroner’s officials said someone hit and kicked Ruben, resulting in multiple blunt-force trauma. His Nov. 3 death was ruled a homicide. The Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau, which is investigating the killing, has not yet made any arrests.

That precious baby, he didn’t have anyone to protect him? Not one person thought of the abuse that he went through, all but the ones who reported it to DCFS?
Never have trusted those people, children have lived in fifth, have been abused and dcfs turned their backs, not seeing the truth.
But you let someone report a child who is living with loving parents, dcfs will find away to get that child from you. They will come up with some outlandish reason the child does not need to be in that home even though the dad, mom, and child are happy, love each other.
On a low down DCFS is not all what its crack up to be

Yep, just like they do! The try to take kids from good families because they are not damaged goods and they can get them placed and get a steady flow of income, but abused kids are worthless to them! The thieving bastards tried to take my child, but the courts gave him back to me. ALL false allegations and lies! I was introduced to the worker months before her investigation by the accuser whom was also her weed supplier!

just got word today that one our former foster children, who we had hoped to adopt, was killed in his/her adoptive home. we were told that we would adopt this child, then a week later, when we wouldn’t go along with the Dcfs worker’s games, the worker took the child and placed with the family who killed the child! when will la Dcfs be held accountable for the crazy decisions it makes?! these workers are like catty teenage girls who just happen to have the lives of children in their hands!!

RIP MK! We’ll call your heartname when we get to heaven!!
