Mother allegedly delivers fatal blow to her infant son
Na-aisha Riley, a 21 year old, New York mother is being accused of punching her 7 month old baby so hard — it killed him. Later, she tried to blame it on her boyfriend who reportedly tried to save the baby.
The baby’s middle name is “Obama” and goes by that name because he was born on election day. Hopefully this isn’t the kind of “Hope and Change” the President had in mind.
He died Monday afternoon after cops found him at her boyfriend’s Bronx home, unresponsive and unconscious.
“She just lost it,” said a police source.
The medical examiner ruled Tuesday that Cashmere died of whiplash and shaking and blunt trauma to the head, a spokeswoman said.
Riley confessed yesterday to punching her 18 1/2-pound, 27-inch long baby, police sources said. She was charged with second-degree murder and assault.

Bronx mother of a dead baby was thrown in jail without bail today after authorities told a judge she had chillingly confessed on videotape to repeatedly punching her 7-month-old son in the head, back and side until he stopped crying.
In shocking details, Naisha Riley, a 20-year-old security guard, told officials that little Cashmere Randall had tears running down his cheeks as he stared at her helplessly during the Monday afternoon attack at her boyfriend’s home on East 222nd Street in the Williamsbridge section, officials said.
“I shook the baby violently four times. I put the baby down. Then, when the baby kept fussing, I picked him back up and punched him three times in the head, three times in the back and once on his side,” Assistant DA Serena Richards told Judge Harold Adler during the mother’s arraignment on murder, manslaughter and assault charges at Bronx Criminal Court.
“While I was punching him in his back, I was holding him by his jaw with my fingers under his nostrils. He had tears coming down and he just kept looking at me,” the mother continued, according to Richards.
“After I punched him, I put him down and he made three little gasps. He stopped crying and I left. I left him on the bed alone.”
The 18 1/2-pound, 27-inch-long baby died a short time later of whiplash shaking and blunt impact, which caused a brain hemorrhage, said Ellen Borakove, a spokesperson for the medical examiner’s office.
The death was ruled a homicide.
Riley pleaded not guilty.
If convicted of the top charge of murder, she faces up to 25 years to life behind bars.

Na-aisha Riley must’ve truly hated her son! There’s no excuse in beating your kids to death! Na-aisha Riley is a truly fat ugly sadistic bloated b**** and I hope she gets sodomized and then killed by her inmates cuz even inmates hate child abusers and baby killers. R.I.P. Cashmere, you’re safe now.
