Boy hit and killed by lightening while playing baseball

What a sad, freak accident…a 12 year old boy is stuck and killed by lightening playing baseball during a storm.

At Lee Hill Park, where a little league baseball game was going on, the umpire called off the game around 6:30 Wednesday night and ordered everyone off the fields and into their cars.

Then lightning struck, hitting two boys. One of them, 12-year old Chelal Gross-Matos, died. His 11-year old friend barely survived.
