Pre-schooler left on school bus

A 4-year-old boy with special needs was forgotten on a school bus and left there for hours.

The Spring Hill Independent School District in Longview said undisclosed disciplinary action will be taken against the driver of the bus.

KLTV-TV reported that the boy, who will turn 5 in August, was bound for special education classes Monday morning when, Superintendent Wes Jones said, he evidently fell asleep.

The driver didn’t notice the boy when she parked the bus in the district’s bus barn after completing her morning route Monday.
