Sex offender pleads not guilty in teen’s murder
Anthony Kirkland of Cincinnati, Ohio has pleaded not guilty in the murder of Esme Kenney. Kenney, 13 years old, was found dead in the woods near her home — she had disappeared the day before after she left home to go jogging. Kirkland, a registered sex offender, was arrested shortly after when police found him the other woods nearby. No other details about her death or any other evidence pointing to Kirkland have been released.
Students at the school started taking the Ohio Graduation Test on Monday, but anyone who did not feel up to taking the test in the wake of their classmate’s death will be allowed to make up the test later, Walsh said.

I won’t make a judgment until after the courts handle this.
