3-year-old describes Hudson plane crash

A 3-year-old girl and her baby brother who survived a US Airways plane crash into New York’s Hudson river, described her experience to reporters.

As the US Airways Flight 1549 hurtled into the Hudson River yesterday, a three-year-old girl on board was crying - not out of fear, but because her father was clutching her so hard.

Now Sophia Sosa is telling people her story, informing all those who ask: ‘My plane turned into a boat - that’s not supposed to happen’.

The story of Sophia, her parents Martin and Tess, and her brother Damian - at nine months old, the youngest survivor of yesterday’s miracle crash-landing - is one of the most moving of the 155 heroic tales.
