Parents charged with starving daughter

Baby girl please know that people are cheering for your quick recovery. What you went through no one should ever have to go through. I pray that you come through all of this with the least amount of scars possible. If you need a loving home know that hundreds even thousands of people would provide you with one. I know I would myself.

Laws need to be changed now to protect our children from monsters like these. 20k for bond? What is that? Four years? What kind of punishment is that. Not when this woman tried to murder this precious life. The father did nothing to stop it. Charge them with attempted murder, criminal neglect, Child neglect, assult, and battery! Make them pay for what they did to this baby.

As a past victim of child abuse involving emotional and physical neglect, I remember the absolute fear on a daily basis. I prayed hard it would end and eventually it did. The scars are permanent. Most of my life I have struggled to shed off the lasting effects (and anger) through professional therapy and medication. I have finally, now into my forty’s, am experiencing freedom. I will never forget and unfortunately as hard as I have tried, never forgive.

I am so thankful this girl has been rescued from this cruelty and horror. I hope now her life is protected and her recovery strong. I believe all those involved should be accountable. As for her parents, I would rather not mention my true feelings here.
