Illinois mom and son missing
A woman from Gurnee, Illinois has been reported missing, along with her 4-year-old son. Family believes she is with the boy’s father, and worry for the child because both parents are believed by them to be heavy drug users.
Gurnee police received a report Wednesday of a missing mother and child, who had been living in the north suburb with the woman’s parents, according to a release from police.
Diane Michelle Kosing, 32, (at right) left the residence on Sept. 15 with her 4-year-old son Spencer James Karp (at left) to get an oil change for her car and run some errands, the release said. They never returned to the Gurnee home.
Kosing’s father told police he had phone contact with his daughter on Sept. 22 and Sept. 27 but has not heard from her since, the release said. He believes his daughter and grandson are in Chicago with Kosing’s estranged husband, Jason E. Karp, 32, with last known address of 5636 N. Spaulding Ave. in Chicago.
