Looks like we might have a future serial killer in the making.
The director of an Australian zoo said on Friday he is “horrified” after a seven-year-old boy broke into the zoo, fed an assortment of animals to a crocodile and clubbed various lizards to death with a rock.
The boy’s attacks happened early Wednesday and were captured on a zoo security camera, said Rex Neindorf, director of the Alice Springs Reptile Centre in Australia’s Northern Territory.
The boy, whose identity cannot be revealed, jumped the zoo’s security fence before bludgeoning three lizards to death with a rock, including the zoo’s much-loved 20-year-old goanna, which he then fed to “Terry,” an 11-foot, 440-pound saltwater crocodile, said Neindorf.

Two police officers in Syracuse, New York rescued a 7-year-old that caught on fire while playing with matches.
Jackari Garrett suffered second- and third-degree burns on 25 percent of his body and was in serious condition Thursday at University Hospital, said Lt. Joe Cecile. The boy was burned on the left side of his body from his face, down his torso, to his leg, Cecile said.
Officers Jeffrey Fleming and Scott Fura were on routine patrol about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday when they spotted the boy running across the street carrying what they thought was a flaming object. The officers quickly realized the boy was on fire, Cecile said.
Fleming and Fura jumped out of their patrol car and chased after the boy, grabbing him and rolling him in wet grass to put the fire out.

A Wisconsin couple accused of severely abusing their 14-year-old daughter claimed in court that they thought the girl “had the devil inside her.” Yeah, we don’t think the method they employed of removing said devil is found anywhere in the Bible.
Minerva Lopez, 32, was charged with 16 counts of child abuse, and her husband, Porfirio Olivas-Lopez, 38, was charged with 11 counts of child abuse for allegedly beating the girl.
Most of the abuse, according to a criminal complaint filed in Dane County Circuit Court, was done by Lopez, who readily admitted to town of Madison police Detective Robb Hale that from April to September she beat the girl with a broomstick, a metal rod, a frying pan and other objects.
Hale said in an interview that this was the most severe case of child abuse he’s ever investigated. He called it “highly likely” that more charges will be filed against the couple.

A 7-year-old boy in Austin, Texas was found unconscious hanging from a hook in his school’s bathroom. He died two days later. Authorities are attributing it to a popular game at the school called “run and jump”.
Students at the Not Your Ordinary School charter campus told police after the death of Tevin Park-Flowers that boys sometimes ran along benches lining the walls of the bathroom.
Students called the game “run and jump” because they liked to jump from bench to bench and try to touch the ceiling, according to the report released Thursday.
Tevin had been excused from a school assembly Jan. 30 to go to the bathroom. When he didn’t return, a male teacher went looking for him. He found Tevin caught on a hook by his shirt. The boy died at the hospital two days later.

A woman from Gurnee, Illinois has been reported missing, along with her 4-year-old son. Family believes she is with the boy’s father, and worry for the child because both parents are believed by them to be heavy drug users.
Gurnee police received a report Wednesday of a missing mother and child, who had been living in the north suburb with the woman’s parents, according to a release from police.
Diane Michelle Kosing, 32, (at right) left the residence on Sept. 15 with her 4-year-old son Spencer James Karp (at left) to get an oil change for her car and run some errands, the release said. They never returned to the Gurnee home.
Kosing’s father told police he had phone contact with his daughter on Sept. 22 and Sept. 27 but has not heard from her since, the release said. He believes his daughter and grandson are in Chicago with Kosing’s estranged husband, Jason E. Karp, 32, with last known address of 5636 N. Spaulding Ave. in Chicago.
