Toddler dead, police investigate bruises
Police are trying to determine the cause of bruises found on an 18-month-old toddler found dead in Memphis, Tennessee.
Officers say when they got to the house on Frayser View Drive at Frayser Boulevard, the toddler was already dead. Police say the child died Wednesday, September 17, 2008, sometime after 11:30 p.m.
According to investigators, there were suspicious bruises all over the baby’s body.
As of now, police aren’t releasing information about who they are questioning. Police say the toddler’s mother called 911 and her boyfriend left the home and has not been seen since. Police have been searching for him for questioning.
