Boyfriend charged with toddler’s death
A man has been charged with homicide after the death of his girlfriend’s baby.
The Post and Courier of Charleston reported that 27-year-old Justin Hillerby was arrested Wednesday morning when he went to the police department for an interview.
Police would not say what evidence links Hillerby to the death of 22-month-old Blaise Preston Spoerl, who was found Monday morning.
The newspaper reported Hillerby lived in the home with the baby’s mother, Jennifer Spoerl.
