Florida authorities had given Casey Anthony until 9:00 a.m. this morning to cooperate with them regarding the disappearance of her daughter Caylee in exchange for limited immunity, but Casey declined the offer.

Padilla said the focus is still on finding Caylee — alive or dead — a discovery that would significantly aid in the investigation.

“Obviously that would clear up a lot of questions that we have,” Padilla told FOXNews.com.

He declined to comment on which of the various theories, if any, had become the most prominent in the investigation. Detectives have been trying to determine whether Caylee died accidentally, was killed or was kidnapped, as her mother has claimed. Police have expressed serious doubts about the abduction story.

“The key is with the mother, with Casey,” Padilla said. “If there is a cover-up, it would be her — if there is. Right now she continues to not provide any information that is helpful to us.”

Apparently these teenagers picked the wrong vehicle to mess with.

Police said 16-year-old Garrett Burton was with at least one other teenage boy Saturday in the backyard of a home when someone shot him in the head just before 3 a.m. Police have no suspects.

The band at Westland High School, where Burton was a student, played the school’s alma mater in memory of him at Saturday night’s football game.

A Tuscon, Arizona couple has been arrested and charged after their 6-month-old infant daughter was found dead.

The parents Terri and Scott sullivan are in the Pima County Jail. They are each charged with one count of child abuse.

It was at an east side apartment on South Pantano Road where police say, they found 6-week-old Kimberly Sullivan dead.

Victor Stevens was moving out of the apartment next door. He says he saw the father try to save the baby’s life.

“I saw and heard ‘the baby’s not breathing the baby’s not breathing.’ I really didn’t know what was going on, and I saw the father trying to give the baby mouth to mouth.”

Investigators say, at birth, Kimberly weighed 7 pounds 12 ounces. When she died she weighed 5-pounds, 12 ounces her skin was sagging and they could see her ribs.

Samantha Corbridge, 24, was thrown out of the Jobcentre Plus office after being told she was breaking the ‘food and drink policy’ by giving her daughter a bottle of milk.

The mother-of-two was left feeding Robyn, two, on the steps of the office in Hove, East Sussex.

She had gone to the office to search for information on an apprenticeship in childcare, but as she searched through files her daughter began to cry.

Miss Corbridge said: “I could tell it was frustrating some of the workers so I decided to give her a bottle because she was hungry.

“The next thing I knew a woman was marching over to me saying I was breaching their food and drink policy and that no one is allowed to drink inside the Jobcentre.”
