Toddler critical after beating
A woman’s boyfriend is being held on charges that he beat her 2-year-old, putting the girl in critical condition.
The girl suffered extensive internal injuries after authorities say a Clinton man beat the girl and her two young siblings on July 31 at the home the children shared with their mother and the alleged attacker.
Marcus Young, 23, was arrested in connection with the incident after a manhunt. Young is charged with assault and battery with intent to kill, according to warrants. A judge has denied bond for him.
