Infant killed in freak car accident
Police are still investigating why a woman veered her car off the road, striking a family walking down the sidewalk. An infant was killed, and a father and his other two children were injured.
On Saturday police said Juan Villanueva was walking down Wilson Street with his infant in his arms when a car veered off the road striking him and his three children.
The infant baby Christopher later died at the hospital.
Andreina Villanueva said the pain is still very real and she can’t believe her baby brother is gone.
Andreina said, “He went to heaven because the car hit us, he didn’t suffer, I really loved him and I really miss him.”
Police said the driver of the car that caused the crash was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
