Boyfriend beat teen with hammer for snoring

Saturday, May 10th, 2008

A woman’s boyfriend chained a teenager up and beat her with the handle of a hammer for snoring, and then sent her off to school. There are just too many mother willing to sell their children’s souls and lives for their boyfriends. With a name like Bobbie Jo Davis, ignorance and stupidity probably come with the territory.

NEW CASTLE, Ind. - A prison guard beat his live-in girlfriend’s daughter in the head while she slept because of her loud snoring, police said.

Charles A. Williamson struck the 14-year-old four or five times with the wooden handle of a claw hammer, according to a probable cause affidavit. He told police he had asked the girl and her mother to move out because both of them snore.

Williamson, 46, is an officer at the New Castle Correctional Facility, about 45 miles east of Indianapolis. He was charged with two counts of battery and faces one count of criminal confinement after the girl complained she had been handcuffed to her bed. An officer at the Henry County Jail said Williamson had bonded out, and a message at a number listed under his name said the phone was disconnected.

Teen suspended for refusing to stand during Pledge of Allegiance

Saturday, May 10th, 2008

You know, it wouldn’t surprise me if this punk kid refused to stand for the pledge to get a few days off from school.

DILWORTH, Minn. — Fourteen-year-old Bishop Edens was suspended from school Friday because he wouldn’t stand for the Pledge of Allegiance, but he was quickly invited back once his principal learned that rule might be unconstitutional.

The back-and-forth came on the second day of controversy at Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Junior High over the school’s policy of requiring students to stand — but not necessarily recite — during the pledge.

Edens saw three of his classmates get disciplined by Principal Colleen Houglum on Thursday, so he decided to break the rule on Friday in protest. “I feel I should speak my mind about this whole thing,” Edens said.

Mother and two children lived with corpse

Saturday, May 10th, 2008

A mother, apparently off her rocker, subjected her two children, ages 12 and 15, to live amongst the decomposing body of a 90 year old woman because the mother thought that if she prayed enough, she could bring the elderly woman back to life. (Ohhhhhkkkkaayyyy…..)

MADISON, Wis. — Two children and their mother lived for about two months with the decaying body of a 90-year-old woman on the toilet of their home’s only bathroom, on the advice of a religious “superior” who claimed the corpse would come back to life, authorities said Friday.

The children — a 15-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy — cried hysterically Wednesday after a deputy who came to their Necedah home looking for Magdeline Alvina Middlesworth ordered them out because of the stench from her body.

The children were in foster care Friday. Their mother, Tammy Lewis, and self-described “bishop” Alan Bushey remained in custody on felony counts of being a party to causing mental harm to a child.

Dead baby found in clothes dryer

Saturday, May 10th, 2008

A baby who was likely born alive was found in a bunch of bloodied towels and sheets in a dryer at a drug rehab facility…

SAN ANTONIO — Residents at a drug and alcohol treatment facility on the city’s west side discovered the body of a baby girl inside a laundry room dryer Friday evening.

Police are questioning a number of women who live at the Victory Home on the 1000 block of SW 38th Street, but they have not made any arrests as of 10 p.m. Friday.

“They were removing the towels and sheets out of the dryer and noticed they were damp and bloody, and when they took them out and put them on the floor, they noticed there was a baby in the sheets,” SAPD Sgt. Rudy Cran said.
